| Mission Statement |
| The International Economics and Finance
Society is an undergraduate organization intended to enhance the educational experience of undergraduate
students of the University of Maryland by providing a link between the academic world of the university
and the vast resources the greater Washington D.C. area provides in the fields of international economics,
international finance and trade. IEFS will provide students with knowledge about international economic and financial
institutions and the full range of their work as well as insight into the various
career paths within these institutions. |
| IEFS - now OCP, SUSA and SGA approved! |
| After approval by the Smith Undergraduate Student Association (SUSA),
IEFS is not officially recognized by the Office of Campus Programs, SUSA and the Student Government Association. Having passed these
administrative stages, the IEFS Executive Board will now focus on establishing an event schedule for next Semester.
The remaining Executive Positions will be filled during one of the first meetings of the Spring 2004 semester.
